Arithmetic

Differential Splitter

Description This function block allows the user to control two separate unipolar (+ only) analog outputs from a bipolar (+/-) input. The block seamlessly splits the input into mutually exclusive positive and negative outputs. This block is useful for connecting the unidirectional analog outputs of a smarty to a real-world device with a non-inverting and inverting input which are summed together in the device (e.g, analog drives).

Parameters

Input Input, Read-write, Analog (signed 16-bit integer)
-327.67 % to 327.67 %
Positive Output Output, Read-only, Analog (signed 16-bit integer)
0.00 % to 327.67 %
When Input is Positive (+) the Output = Input; otherwise, the Output is zero.
Negative Output Output, Read-only, Analog (signed 16-bit integer)
0.00 % to 327.67 %
When Input is Negative (-) the Output = the absolute value of the Input; otherwise, the Output is zero.
